Services

Unless otherwise specified, all sessions will take place in my office on Bainbridge Island, or via Telehealth (available only for those in Washington state at this time).

Mental health IS health and I am committed to providing equitable care whenever possible. If you or your loved one is in crisis or in need of services and need payment assistance, I have a limited number of spots available for reduced fee therapy. Please contact me so we can talk about options.

Individual Therapy

I provide one-on-one therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and parents that is individualized based on your needs and therapeutic goals. Each session is 50 minutes long.

Family Therapy

Family counseling is often useful in conjunction with individual counseling in helping to examine how the family system can be strengthened, learning new parenting strategies, or in adjusting to the many transitions today's families face. Family sessions are 50 minutes long.

School-based Interventions

Valuable information about student behavior, interpersonal relationships, emotional regulation, and academic challenges can often be obtained via school observation, which can be extremely helpful in developing a successful plan for your child. I am also available to attend teacher conferences or planning meetings for 504, IEP, or Behavioral Intervention Plans, in order to best advocate for your child and their unique needs. School observations or other meetings are billed at my hourly rate.

EMDR Therapy

I provide EMDR therapy in either 50 minute or 90 minute sessions, using a variety of bilateral stimulation (BLS) options. EMDR therapy generally takes between 8-12 sessions, however this can vary widely between clients and based on individual circumstances.

*Some clients may also opt to incorporate EMDR therapy into their existing sessions.

Parent Consults

Parents often meet with me individually to work on parenting strategies and interventions, increase understanding around diagnoses, and to strengthen their relationships with their children. All parent sessions are 50 minutes long.

ADHD Assessments

ADHD Assessments are comprised of multiple components, including age-appropriate testing, personal and parent interview, clinical assessment, and evaluation of personal history. Contact me for more information.

Insurance and Payment

I am an in-network provider for the following insurance companies, however in order to dedicate the maximum amount of time to my clinical work, I typically do not work directly with insurance companies. If you would like to use your insurance benefits, please check with your provider first. I provide a once monthly "super-bill" which may be submitted to your provider for reimbursement. *Some services, such as meetings, documentation, or school observations may not be covered by insurance.
